P Prakash

P Prakash, MSc (N), PhD (N), MBA (HM) is presently working as an Assistant Professor in College of Applied Medical Sciences at Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia. He has been awarded Doctorate in Nursing at Meenakshi Academy of Education & Research (MAHER), Chennai. He has 10 years of teaching experience in Nursing. He completed his Master's degree in Psychiatric Nursing from Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Paramedical Sciences (SRIPMS), Coimbatore. He also completed diploma in Operation Theater Techniques & Yoga from Annamalai University and Madurai Kamaraj University respectively. He received Florence Nightingale Award for Best Nurse in Philanthropy, 2016 by Doctors United Charitable Trust (DUCT). He was awarded Merit certificate in his Post Graduation for obtaining second place in General Proficiency. He was awarded Gold medal by His Excellency Governor, Surjit Singh Barnala, for securing State level First rank in Conversational English program conducted at State Bank Officers Association, Chennai. He was awarded twice for best poster presentation in National seminars. He was also awarded with Gold certificate in Yogathon challenge competition for completion of 108 rounds of Surya Namaskar on World Health Day April 7, 2012. He is a Certified Master trainer for the Promotion of Mental Health Services in collaboration with World Health Organization (WHO) & Ministry of Health/Family Welfare, Govt. of India. He is an American Heart Association Certified Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Provider. He is an approved Research supervisor of Shri Jagdishprasad Jhabarmal Tibrewala University, Rajasthan. He is also the assessor of Health Sector Skills Council. He worked as a Medical Investigator of Ayu Health, Chennai. He is the content developer for 'CBS Nursing Next Mobile application'. Besides, the author is Life Member of International Palliative Care Family Career Research Center, University of Melbourne at Australia, American Travel Health Nurses Association, Indian Red Cross Society, Trained Nurses Association of India & Senior Member of Asian Researchers Society. He is Editorial Board Member of various Indexed International journals. Besides this book, he has authored Psychiatric Nursing Textbook for CBS Publishers and presented topics as resource person in various conferences. He has published research articles in Scopus indexed journals, apart from organizing workshops and presenting scientific papers at national and international level.
