in MedicalAbout this course
From a long time, “Shruti (what is heard) and Smriti (which is remembered) constitute the most evolved form of teaching followed by Indian sages, who would remember and transmit to men the tradition which they have gathered and this resulted in composition of some of the most sacred texts in the history. This unique e-book has successfully revived the powerful Indian ways of passing on the knowledge that is easily understood and well retained.
This special e-book by Prof. Chintamani, is all about the art of clinical examination, approach to any surgical case and its management. It involves a dialogue between the consultant (Guru), the resident(Shishya) and the patient as well. These dialogues should not only help students to pass an examination in surgery, but also prepare them to deal with many surgical problems which are encountered in real-life clinical practice. Today, in the busy world of busy doctors and busy hospitals, often residents miss out on getting taught bedside during ward rounds. But you have not missed much if you have this e-book which allows you to train yourself anytime and from anywhere into making a quick and correct diagnosis, perform appropriate investigations and practice evidence-based management based on recent guidelines.
The e-book is a live interactive classroom happening bedside which will help MS/DNB students of General surgery, as well as those in super specialities and also MBBS students in developing critical concepts of patient management. In summary, a must-read book with information that is useful in every day clinical practice as well as for cracking any practical examination in Surgery because the author understands that you have an easier time understanding spoken instructions than written ones.
